About the owner

The daughter of a fruit and veg merchant, Louise thrived on amazing food when growing up.  Her parents would effortlessly prepare the most delicious meals, regularly entertaining friends and family, often at the drop of a hat. Louise developed a passion for food. She and her husband have been known to travel hundreds of miles for a special meal! Totally foodies through and through!

Before embarking on Soupz, Louise regularly made soup to feed her family, sharing any excess supplies with local friends. Noting the positive feedback, as well as the happiness it brought to others, Louise hatched the idea to develop a soup kitchen offering her products to the wider community. 

Louise has been been thrilled by fabulous feedback she's received from her growing customer base.  She is passionate about good food and about sourcing the best quality ingredients available for both her family and for her customers.

Louise holds an NCASS Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate and has undertaken Health and Safety Training. She is following "SFBB Safer Food for Customers" as well as Food Standards Scotland "Cooksafe" 

principles and methodology. 

An application was lodged with West Lothian Council to begin trading from March 2021.
